With its 500 square meter span across five rooms within a classic French mansion dating back to the 19th century, this free museum brings together hundreds of photographs that chronicle Rehahn's nearly decade-long odyssey. As you explore each room, you'll follow him through his adventures as he captured the essence and spirit of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
The journey begins at the Fine Art Room, where Rehahn's most iconic works greet you. These images, rich with personal significance, highlight turning points in his artistic evolution. This space is a rezvous for admirers and collectors alike, who will find themselves drawn to the stories encapsulated within each frame.
Venture further into the heart of Rehahn's discoveries with our Indigo Screening Room. Here, you'll witness behind-the-scenes footage captured during his encounters with various tribes across Vietnam. Dive deep into their sustnable dye-making processes and centuries-old textile techniques like hemp harvesting and batik design.
The Northern Vietnam section transports you to the breathtaking landscapes where Rehahn's journeys led him. From the Cong, who migrated from Laos leaving behind their cultural heritage, to the Si La tribes known for their good-luck-blessed silver coin-lined costumes; each portrt and costume tells a unique story of tradition preserved agnst the odds.
