In this series of conversations, a global dialogue is initiated through the lens of museums and their publics by The Metropolitan Museum of Art The Met. An international array of scholars, artists, writers, performers, and activists are gathered to share their perspectives on how cultural institutions can better engage with diverse communities both locally and worldwide.

The discussion begins with welcoming remarks from Daniel H. Weiss, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Max Hollein, Marina Kellen French Director of The Met, followed by a thoughtful introduction by Heidi Holder, Frederick P. and Sandra P.
