In celebration of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the town of Luyang hosted its second annual calligraphy exhibition at the Da Jinshui Museum last month. The event was atted by numerous local officials from various departments, esteemed community figures, parents and students, numbering over one hundred participants.
The exhibition was meticulously organized under the guidance of the新时代文明实践所(New Era Civilized Practice Station)and jointly promoted by the Communist Party branches of Jinshui Village, Jindong Village, and Wuzh Village. The Da Jinshui Museum took charge of the organization alongside Fujian Changguan Property Management Co., Ltd.
As a focal point for cultural appreciation and artistic expression, this exhibition served as an opportunity to showcase exceptional calligraphy skills among local students. Competitors displayed their artistic prowess in a variety of styles ranging from traditional to contemporary approaches to Chinese characters on paper.
The atmosphere at the event was electric with a buzz of anticipation and admiration. Judges evaluated works based on creativity, technical skill, originality, and emotional expression. Prizes were awarded to outstanding artists, followed by an exhilarating ceremony where certificates and financial rewards were presented.
